Downtime Records is an independent record label founded by Daniel Herd in 2012. The label focuses on releasing music from Scottish artists across the full spectrum of electronic music.

Initially set up as a means for self-release, Downtime's aim is to now share great electronic music from Scotland with the world.

Downtime prides itself on quick releases (no long lead-in periods if they aren't wanted) and fair pay for our artists.
